Owner
Vincent Lucchesi
Vincent Lucchesi has over three decades of experience in the field of ceramics and insulating systems. He has been the President of Graphite Insulating Systems for the past 23 years, leading the company with a focus on innovation and excellence. Before joining Graphite Insulating Systems, Vincent spent 10 years as an Operations Manager at Norton Saint Gobain, where he honed his expertise in advanced materials.
Vincent holds a Bachelor of Science in Ceramic Sciences and Engineering from Alfred University, class of 1980. Vincent’s extensive industry knowledge and leadership have made him a trusted name in the world of high-performance insulation solutions.

Maura Long
For over 23 years, Maura Long has been the Co-Owner and Business Manager of Graphite Insulating Systems, where she focuses on operations, finance, and strategic growth. Maura's expertise has been instrumental in driving the company's success, solidifying its reputation as a leader in the industry. Her dedication to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency sets the foundation for GIS's continued growth.
Maura holds both a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A) from Fitchburg State University, equipping her with the skills to effectively lead and innovate in a competitive market. Her hands-on approach and commitment to excellence continue to shape the company’s vision and long-term strategy.
Co-Owner & Operations Manager
Greg Hawkins
Greg Hawkins has over 30 years of experience in engineering and operations management. His career encompasses a diverse range of industries, from small machine shops to multinational aerospace and defense companies. Greg holds an MBA and a Mechanical Engineering Degree from Colorado State University.
Greg specializes in industrial control systems and instrumentation. He is also an expert in high-temperature composites, CVI, PVD, high-temperature purification, and graphitization, with extensive knowledge of graphite materials. He is experienced in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Greg has led projects involving strategic planning, budgeting, capital planning, and project management.
His dedication to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest technological advancements has earned him a reputation as a forward-thinking professional.
